Manufacturability and a domestic production path
WPM helps businesses improve how parts are made and explore bringing production to U.S. suppliers. We combine practical machining experience, CAD refinement, process planning, and supplier coordination.
We are a manufacturability and onshoring company, not an engineering firm. Projects are custom scoped; required professional engineering approvals and validation remain with appropriately qualified parties.
Practical support from idea to process
CAD for Manufacturing
Develop and refine models and drawings to support manufacturing discussions. We work from sketches, concepts, existing parts, or supplied CAD, organizing geometry and revisions around the intended process and agreed requirements.
CAD studies communicate a manufacturing direction. They do not provide professional engineering certification or establish product safety or performance.
Manufacturability & Onshoring
Review process options, material requirements, operation sequences, machining setups, tooling, and inspection needs. The goal is a practical, repeatable manufacturing plan suited to the part.
We identify and coordinate potential U.S. suppliers, review quotes, and help plan a domestic production transition. Cost reduction, quality, and supply resilience are goals, not guarantees. Supplier capability, location, scope, and delivery terms are confirmed before an order is approved.
Fixturing & Machining Support
Practical support for CNC fixture and workholding concepts, setup planning, and machining workflows. We consider how a part is located, held, accessed by a tool, and measured.
Fixture strength, cutting safety, machine compatibility, and repeatability require appropriate review and testing before use.
Die-Casting & Cast-Part Support
Die-casting is one area where our hands-on background can help. We support cast-part design discussions, tooling and component concepts, secondary machining, and process troubleshooting.
All work is project-specific. Design approval, validation, inspection, and supplier responsibilities are agreed before production.
