WALLASCH COMPACT CNC · DEVELOPMENT STUDY

Three connected manufacturing systems

A closer look at compact machining, pallet handling and packaging within the casting-to-CNC concept.

Illustrative development concept, not for sale. Grouped offsets explain assembly relationships, not a validated assembly or removal sequence. Interfaces, motion, performance, controls and safeguarding remain unqualified.

Compact CNC modules

What it is
A compact machining module for cast parts held on a transferable fixture pallet.

How it works
The pallet seats in the receiver. Clamps locate the casting while the gantry and spindle position the tool for concept milling, drilling and thread milling.

The five groups shown are the spindle carriage, gantry assembly, casting pallet, receiver and clamps, and base with chip tray. Covers and flexible service routes are omitted for visibility. Tool access, workholding and machining performance remain unvalidated; no rigid tapping capability is claimed.

Pallet loading and transfer

What it is
A shared mechanism that transfers casting pallets between staging and machining stations.

How it works
The dock supports the pallet while the capture head engages. The infeed slide then withdraws the captured pallet for travel and placement at a machine receiver.

The four groups shown are the loaded casting pallet, capture head, infeed slide and loading dock. Long-travel rails, mast and buffer rack are omitted. Physical loads, sensing, retention, positioning and fault recovery still require verification.

Output trays and packaging

What it is
A tray, carrier and crate concept for organizing finished cast parts.

How it works
Finished parts are placed into individual tray pockets. The grouped view shows the two intact tray-and-carrier assemblies above the receiving crate.

The three groups shown are the lower tray and carrier, upper tray and carrier, and crate with support. The full-tray lifting interface remains unresolved; this still does not demonstrate a loaded-tray lift.
